You’re holding it together on the outside—but inside, it’s exhausting.
Let’s make space for all of it—the overwhelm, the racing thoughts, the panic, the doubts. Therapy is a place to untangle what’s going on and finally catch your breath.
Anxiety
Anxiety can show up in sneaky ways - racing thoughts, tight shoulders, nausea, overthinking every little thing, or feeling stuck in "what ifs." Maybe you feel like your brain just won’t shut off, and even rest feels like work.
Anxiety disorders are the most common mental health concern in the U.S., affecting over 40 million adults each year.
In our sessions, we’ll figure out what your anxiety is trying to tell you, untangle the patterns that keep you spinning, and practice ways to create more calm and ease in your day-to-day life.
Intrusive Thoughts
Ever had a random, disturbing thought pop into your head and wonder, “What is wrong with me?” These thoughts are more common than you think, and they don’t define who you are.
Studies found that about 94% of people experience unwanted, intrusive thoughts.
Guess what? This means you are not alone. Together, we’ll explore where these thoughts come from, what makes them stick, and how to relate to them differently so they lose their power over you.
Panic Attacks
Panic attacks are the worst. Truly. It’s awful and scary to feel like you might die, or like you’re totally out of control. Maybe you can tell one’s coming. Maybe they hit out of nowhere. Maybe you're just constantly anxious about having another one. Whatever your experience, you’re not alone. Do you know to know something?
You won’t die from a panic attack, even if it feels that way. And your body can’t panic forever—it will eventually calm down on its own.
Together in therapy, we’ll slow it down, talk through what’s really happening in your brain and body, and build tools to help you ride it out with less fear and more confidence.
Questions You Might Be Afraid to Ask (But Totally Should)
-
Anxiety can look like overthinking, trouble sleeping, racing thoughts, stomach issues, or just feeling “on edge” all the time. If it’s getting in the way of your daily life or peace of mind, therapy can help—even if you’re not sure what to call it yet.
-
Yes! Therapy has been shown to be highly effective in treating anxiety. We’ll work together to understand your anxiety, practice coping tools, and shift the patterns that keep it going.
-
Totally normal. You don’t need to have it all figured out before you start. I’ll meet you exactly where you are and help guide the process step by step.
-
Not at all. While some people find medication helpful, therapy can also be extremely effective on its own. If you’re curious about meds, I can support you in exploring your options and making informed choices.
-
It can feel like your heart is racing, you can’t catch your breath, your chest is tight, or like you're detached from your body. Some people feel like they’re dying or going crazy, but they’re not. It’s your body’s alarm system misfiring.
-
Trying to push them away usually makes them come back stronger. Instead, therapy can help you change how you respond to them, so they hold less power and take up less space in your life.
-
Not necessarily. While intrusive thoughts are common in OCD, many people without OCD experience them too. If they’re frequent, distressing, or interfering with your life, therapy can help you get clarity and support.
