You thought this would be easier - more joyful, more manageable. Instead, you’re overwhelmed. Lets talk about what this actually feels like.
Welcome, I’m Dana. I’m a therapist, a parent, and a human.
Maybe your thoughts are racing, your body feels on edge, or you’re moving through the day with a constant sense of unease. Maybe you’re in the thick of trying to conceive, pregnancy, or new parenthood—and it’s not at all what you imagined.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (#104760) specializing in anxiety, panic attacks, and perinatal mood and anxiety disorders. I work with people navigating the tender, challenging moments of life, whether that’s becoming a parent, managing intrusive thoughts, or simply trying to hold it all together.
Whether this is your first child or you’re parenting multiples, every child changes your life, and each experience deserves to be honored. You don’t have to do it alone. Therapy offers a space to feel supported, grounded, and more connected to yourself again.
“Whether you are navigating parenthood, relationships, or personal growth - I’m here to help.”
Specialities
Individual Therapy
Are you an individual struggling with anxiety, overwhelm, intrusive thoughts and panic attacks? Ever feel like you are going crazy? Let’s talk.
Perinatal Therapy
If you are trying to conceive, are currently pregnant, newly postpartum or are grieving a loss, I’m here for you.
In our work together I might -
Guide you through grounding or breathing exercises
Help you learn to regulate your nervous system in real time
Offer education about anxiety, intrusive thoughts, trauma or parenthood - depending on what you are navigating
Share local resources or referrals if it feels helpful, because I believe in building your village
There is no one size fits all approach to therapy. You will find I like to take an integrative approach, meaning I pull from various evidence based therapies. A few of my favorites include mindfulness techniques, cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT).
