How I Got Here

I started my career in 2010, working in community mental health, nonprofits, and public child welfare across Los Angeles, San Francisco, Sonoma and Marin Counties. I’ve spent years walking alongside families navigating

  • childhood abuse and neglect

  • housing instability

  • serious mental illness

  • domestic violence

  • substance use

and the complex systems that often come with those experiences.

I’ve supported children, parents, foster and adoptive families, and blended and non-traditional families - all before becoming a parent myself.

I’ve sat in hospital rooms with brand new parents in those raw, early moments after birth. Once I went through it myself, I gained a deeper empathy that no training could provide.

That realization led me to pursue advanced training in perinatal mental health. I’ve been passionate about supporting people through pregnancy, postpartum, and parenting ever since.

Becoming a parent changed the way I show up in this work.

Who I Work With

This is a space where you can come exactly as you are—no fixing, no pretending.

Signs with supportive mental health messages: "You are not alone," "Don't give up," and "You matter."

Treatment Approach

I’m not the kind of therapist who just nods and asks , “How does that make you feel?” - thought I do care deeply about how you are feeling.

Therapy with me is collaborative. Sure, we will talk about your week and what’s been coming up, but I’ll also bring us back to why you’re here. I want you to leave our sessions not just feeling heard, but supported, grounded and empowered with tools you can actually use outside the therapy room.

Most people don’t want to be in therapy forever, they want to feel better, understand themselves more, and get unstuck. I’m here to help you do just that. I believe we all have strengths inside us, even if they feel hard to access right now. Therapy can be the place where you start to reconnect with those parts of yourself.

Rooted in Community

While my practice is focused on adult clients, I stay connected to working with children and families through roles at West County Health Center, Mother Care Support, and Sonoma County’s Family, Youth, and Children’s Services.

I believe therapy should be accessible and affirming for all—regardless of background, income, or identity. I have experience in working with LGBTQIA+ clients and strive to create a space that feels safe, inclusive, and down-to-earth.
